Perfect for energetic, curious kids who learn best by doing! We will do August assessments and we will adjust learning goals accordingly as well as modify for each individual child as they master new goals!

What Kids Will Do:

Learning Goals:

Math:

• Count forwards and backwards
• Recognize numbers to 100
• More, less, equal, 
• Simple equations 3+2
• Identify 2D and 3D shapes
• Understand corners and side
• Compare objects by length, height and weight (taller/shorter/heavier/lighter) 
• Recognize coins and their values 
• Sorting y color, size, shape or category
• Identifying patterns

Literacy:

• Recognize letters (upper and lowercase with mixed fonts) - as they are ready
• Recognizing main characters, setting, conflict and solution
• Finishing stories with their own words 
• Recognize name (first and last)
• Make predictions in stories 
• Participate in conversations
• Taking turns speaking and listening
• Summarizing and retelling the story back to their peers and teachers
• Blend 2-3 sounds to read simple words (as ready)
• Segment words into individual sounds (as ready)
